Probably sounds a stupid question! But I’ve been running in a lightweight jacket with a breast pocket which was fine but now it’s too warm, and my running bottoms don’t have a pocket. Should I get an arm band or waist belt or something? I have been holding it in my hand the past couple of runs.
Where do you carry your phone?: Probably sounds... - Couch to 5K
Where do you carry your phone?
I bought a flip belt from Amazon. It's an elasticated belt which will carry your phone, keys, tissues etc, without getting in the way. You can even buy water pouches for it, which I might do for the warmer weather now I'm working on longer runs. It's great; I don't run without it.
Hi. I bought an arm band, and find it vg. Just finished wk3!
I have a little rucksack on my back for phone and water
I’ve got a flip belt too and I bought the little water bottles for it last summer. I used them when I was working up to 21k. One time I filled them not quite full and froze them to allow for expansion. They were lovely and cool nestling on my lower back until about halfway when I opened one for a drink as it had started to melt and was lovely then. I drank half but didn’t do it up quite right and, as I ran on,it gently trickled down my back and leg!!! 🤣 luckily most was still frozen so I quickly redid it up and carried in chuckling. It was so hot back then it dried quickly but I’m careful now that I do them up properly.
Haven’t needed them yet this year as I’ve only just made it back up to 4k 🙄☹️
Flip belt is great though I used mine this morning and carried phone, inhaler, key, tissue and lip balm easily.
I use a little zippy belt (bit like the flip belt but with a zip). Just about big enough to hold phone and keys.
Is flip belt a brand? Just had a quick look on amazon and there were so many to choose from 😳
I recently had the same problem, I looked at flip belts due to recommendations on here but they would’ve taken over a month to be delivered so I bought this one instead which cane in a couple of days!
