W1R2 snow this morning!

Woke to snow and a bitterly cold day. But it brightened in the afternoon, so I chose my time and went for it. Really enjoyed it, more people out but I was easily able to social distance (single track road round the village, no pavement) and I did it feel embarrassed by my red face or panting. Nervous for R3 - strong winds forecast for this Hebridean island 😩

Snow running - that's dedication!

Well done for getting out in the cold and don't worry about red faces and panting! :D

Sounds like a lovely place to run 😊 well done for braving the cold 🥶

Great run out there in the cold. If it’s too windy next run day, take an extra non running day and do some indoor cross training... the run can wait.

Thanks unfit no more. Trouble with the weather here, you have to be able to run despite it, the forecast for the next week is not brilliant. On the up side, there is often a sweet spot in a day, so I shall try to be ready to take the best opportunity!

I see... here we specialise in wet weather, but that’s just refreshing! If you can get into those sweet spots you’re gonna be running in some great air!
