Didn't feel much like going out, was feeling a tad low what with the lockdown & news gloom & doom, but we are all in the same boat! lucky to be able to get out for a run anyway I think..
Consolation was that I'm doing c25k with my wife Slinky so there's motivation, and the weather was slightly brighter & warmer than the previous run.. but I felt low on most of the run, and perked up when I had finished & recovering walking home.
I had to keep telling myself that these dips sometimes happen on runs and to push on through, it will pass..
Onwards and upwards! 😉

Great job. You’re right, not all runs feel great in the moment... but we can be proud just after the end of every single run. The whole world is stressed out, maybe that’s gonna take a bit of our run to burn off... yesterday I ran, and while it was good to be out there, nothing felt right for the first mile or so.
Also, all of this has coincided for you guys with the notorious W6R1 which catches a lot of people out... it looks much easier than it is and so we can, without meaning to, run slightly faster than we are used to. The next run is similar, so my best advice would be to go deliberately slower, especially in the first half.
Great job getting this one done... running is part physical and part mental... tough runs help us build the mental side.
