4 'Spring' glitches, but DID it!

W6R2 on Thursday didn't go well, 4 glitches: ... too hot! I didn't think to adjust my clothes for the spring temperature and maybe didn't drink enough beforehand? smelly! I'm so lucky to run through farmland but muck spreading is in full swing on both sides of road, what can you do about that? dusty! no rain for over a week so passing traffic kicks up dust, best I could do was turn away? AND wrong nutrition: I swallowed a bug! Yuch! But a facemask would be smothering? But I did it AND saw a pair of red kites... SO ELATED as I walked home!!! hope I can remember that, not the glitches, when I set off for W6R3 later today

Well done on your run!👏 I love it when we share our runs with wildlife, even for just a short while; deer🦌, rabbits🐇, foxes - I bet the red kites were stunning! Muck spreading... yep, necessary but smelly. Bugs? extra protein! 😉🤣 Another run ticked off though - good luck with W6R3!👍

On this peaceful sunny day, I feel guilty about ending that bug's life!!

I am wondering if this pause in humanity's Business As Usual will give the rest of our precious ecosystem a chance to recuperate a little and maybe that bug was part of it! I am wishing my best wishes that there will be a mass movement not to allow Business As Usual to return.
