Stupidly, I was really worried about this run. My graduation run. The result of a lot of exhaustion, trembling legs and a couple of niggles and more than a few gremlins run into the trees.
But I took off, and went too fast! So I put the breaks on and waited for the lady from Strava to tell me my split time. Too fast again! At this point, I'm five minutes running in, and really slammed the anchors on, slowing right down, and for the first time (thanks to my glasses-keeper-oners - that's a technical term, by the way) enjoyed watching the woods roll past. And the amount of people out today was ridiculous! But I crept through the run, plodding along the straights, surging up the inclines, and not even hating Sarah every time she told me what time was left! And through the latter half, I've been plotting my next few routes, different places I can go running for a change of scenery.
Can't wait to consolidate!
But I did it! Several days late, but someone gimme a badge, some space on the podium and a glass of bubbly! π

Congratulations Jundal, kick those last gremlins out, celebrations are for winners.
Interesting last run, good pace adjustment. Plotting consolidation routes on the run? Thatβs just too cool! Well done mate, all that hard work had best have left you damn proud of yourself. πΎπΎ
π₯π₯π₯πππππππββοΈπββοΈπββοΈπππ Woohoo Jundal! Fabulous, you made it onto the podium! Doesnβt it feel amazing? Cheers πΎπ₯
Sounds like your run was a corker too! Brilliant stuff, youβve deserved your feeling of utmost pride! ππ»ππ» Quick, go and claim that badge! π₯
I canβt add links, but thereβs a pinned post about August graduation badges. Or someone with more tech knowledge will put the link up here for you ..... π
Congrats on graduating β . Iβm sure you found the space I left for you at the podium π. Take a few days off and celebrate then hit it hard again.
It was a good run. Not as good as some, but worth it. I've just come from illness and wasn't quite over it, but I'd decided to graduate today come hell or high water.
I have, and... Thank you, Mentor. Your example and that of others has been driving me on for some time now. I may never be the fastest. I may never be the thinnest, or the best, or be on a podium being lauded by others, (except today!) But by gosh, I'll keep looking for the next view, the next goal, the next mountain to conquer. But I couldn't have done it so far without all of you. I raise a glass to you all. Slainte. π
Jundal I'm joining you on the podium now! Thanks for the inspiration as today's run was hard - but I was committed to getting to the podium and I'm now feeling great
Hope you are still enjoying the post graduation satisfaction.
