The bad penny turns up again. Well I’m not Penny nor bad really but I have turned up gain 😊

I completed the programme nearly 3 years ago, despite disappearing from the forums I have continued running. Not far not fast but for 30 mins 2 or three times a week. I was supposed to be celebrating my 3 score and 10th year in July. However the crazy times will probably stop that. On the upside if I cancel it I will emerge from all this 1 year younger!

Keep running from the virus folks - at a distance of course .....

Good on you for keeping up the running. I'm nosy - how far do you run in your 30 mins these days?

Well on a very very good day 2 and a bit miles. I’ve never managed 5k in less than 38 mins and that was a fluke. More like 40/42 mins

I don’t really try to go faster as I’m happy just being able to do it. I’d rather run less far regularly than a longer distance once a week . Are you enjoying your running journey?

Yes, I am enjoying running again but I started the C25K programme from scratch after a winter break (just on W4 now). I didn't know what to do with myself after graduation, I fear that just running 30 minutes would get a bit boring although I never did try the C25K stepping stone podcasts to mix things up a bit.

Yes I must admit that running is not top of my enjoyment lists. I do it so that I can charge about the badminton court more easily. It is also why I only do 30 mins or so- too many other things to do in between which are far more funπŸ˜€πŸ’ƒπŸ·πŸΈπŸ§˜β€β™€οΈπŸš΄β€β™€οΈπŸ“šπŸŽ.......

Well done you for keeping up your running, I graduated 2 years ago and gave up running, finding it very difficult to get back into it.

I tried really hard to do a bit every week, of course I had several lapses especially without motivation from the programme. The thing that has kept me going is thought of starting from square 1 again. What I did find is that even after a long lapse my body seemed to retain a running memory and after a few run/walks I got back on track. I hope you manage to give it a go
