It’s Willows birthday and I’ve been saving some flour ever since I realised i may not find some more in shops
Thought I would share a picture, we may run or walk later then i will post but for now here’s some cake and sorry it’s not a real piece for you all

It’s beautiful out and medium busy along the seafront we walked a bit along there to go to the bank for work which was essential we can’t run out of money

I had already made the middle grandsprocket’s cake last week - I usually make them a week ahead, freeze and then decorate just before - which was lucky as when his nursery had to close on Friday they told my daughter they’d have a birthday party there for him. Cue frantic cake decorating!
That’s a good idea, I never gave a thought to flour when everybody was buying up all the toilet rolls and i was wondering how long 3 would last
I thought I had more flour than I did 🤦♀️ but right now there’s only me in the house, and baking isn’t high on my list of things to do.
Hopefully husband will get home tomorrow 🤞
Let’s hope so, I’ve always got flour but last time i looked i have plain for biscuits but only enough self raising for one cake so it had to be Willows

Well it made a change from worrying about the world
Indeed. I’ve been working my way through my yarn stash scraps from other projects and made 4 single bed sized blankets so far. : have been gifted and gratefully received ( before soc. distancing).
Then I’m going to start working through my larger packs of yarn and making some spring/ summer tops and then some baby clothes for a friend due in 6 weeks.
Trying to resist baking as I know I will only eat it and there’s only me here now.... as it is I have 3 blackberry and apple pies in my freezer that keep tempting me .... 🙁🤣🤣 everytime I open it to cook something they call to me ..” eat me eat me “
I have too been knitting and crocheting, i will put a post up with a picture for you to make you giggle
