Honestly tho this week has been terrible. First injured my knee so a 3 day break before R1. Then I wasn't feeling well so took 2 days break (actually I am still unwell), but I forced myself this morning to do the the R2 against my mum's advice. Made everything worst I think (go me!).
So normally by Tuesday I am on R3 so I am one run behind
By the end of the second 8 minute run (especially last 2-3 mins) I felt like I was carrying stones! Looks like week 1 leg pains are back. I am a bit scared about R3, if I struggled with the second 8 min run how am I suppose to run 20min straight!?

I am really struggling to get through wk5 r2. I have attempted it twice and still haven't managed it, so well done you for getting through it. You should be feeling really proud of yourself, well done
The last few minutes were really hard but to be honest I only managed it becoz I was jogging at snails pace. Also I run early in the morning, I find its much easier to run in the morning rather than later in the day. Once I have had a meal (breakfast or lunch) no way I'd be able to do it. So I suggest running nice and fresh in the morning just after you get out of bed.
I fall out of bed, and straight into my running stuff. I am away at the moment, in very hilly St Ives, and despite it being my birthday today I did set my alarm for 6am to go out. Got dressed, went down the 2 flights of stairs to the front door, opened the door, went outside, came back inside and went back to bed...it was bucketing down!!! Usually I would have gone out, but as it is my birthday, I just came back to bed
