Finally got round to doing the C25K programme, I'm used to doing 10K brisk walks 2/3 times a week, but never dared start running due to heart issues in family. But was given all clear by doctors a while back and now that winter is ending thought I had ran out of excuses... Felt brilliant after it, hadn't appreciated the difference on the body compared to the walks though!

Well done, like you I was a walker, and have a family history of heart disease and had perhaps used that as an excuse for not running but I stuck to the plan and I got there and so will you!!
I just started too! Week 1, Run 2 - my mum can’t run but I just do the walking with her and try and turn around to fit the programme. Feels great to be out and about with gyms inaccessible. Let’s do this 👏🏻
