Week Six. Run One

This was another daft o'clock run. Unfortunately there was no music this time round. I'd been fiddling with my headphones and have done something with the Bluetooth pairing. Hopefully I'll have that figured for my next outing as I did miss my songs. And besides, I don't think Laura was too keen having to shout from my pocket.

I can see how this run catches out a few runners following the success of the previous. I went out as prepared as I could be, but it was actually hard going. Maybe because it's the middle of the night hasn't helped things. Not to worry. It was completed, which is the main thing.

My new Garmin watch came at the weekend. I love it. I've already sat down analysing the run. Apparently I'm an average runner with a cadence of 150 spm - whatever that means. Lol.

Now, it's time to make my bait and head off to work. Hope you all have a great day!

Congratulations on completing run 1 of week 6, that run does catch out a few runners, SPM, Steps Per Minute is the number of steps you take when running or walking per minute, it's also called cadence, usually but not always the the more the number of SPM a runner runs, the faster he goes, however, stride is also very important as well, there was a runner who reported she ran with 190 SPM and compleed 10k in 80 minutes, another runner with 156 SPM ran another 10K in only 40 minutes, so SPM is only a rough guide to how fast you run.
