This week was challenging. The second run I struggled and slowed down so much at one point it felt like I was running on the spot. I think that I had issues mentally this week as I'm very down about how covid 19 is impacting on my life. My job involves caring for the elderly, so I can't take any chances. Therefore I cancelled a lot of things I'd planned for the forthcoming month and it's making life seem very dull and grey. Hoping I'll be in a better place for next week's runs.
Stay safe everyone and keep on running!

Well done on getting through a tough week. We can't control so many things in our lives but when we run we can. Each run offers something different and has it's own story.
So well done and best wishes next week. You will do it!
Well done for keep going despite how you felt emotionally. It’s hard times for us all at the moment and more difficult for you working in a care home too. Hopefully the sun will start shining soon to give us all something to cheer about. X
Firstly, thank you for your commitment to the vulnerable in our society at this time. Lots in the care community are worried, few are changing their own lifestyle before those changes are imposed on us.
Now to the running... week 7 isn’t as easy as it looks. The runs are the same, but the weekly load on your legs, heart and lungs still goes up... always look at what you’ve done in the last week. Great job there.
So, as a vital part of the health and social care people that we need to get through the pandemic, get some relaxation time in... not doing what we normally do can be a positive... headspace is sometimes hard to find in busy lives. Relax as much as you can... keep up the great work with your service users and also with your runs. Have a wonderful week 8.
Stay safe, Ooloutoo. It much be very tough working with such vulnerable people in this climate. So glad we have our running and this community to keep us vaguely sane. 👩💻👍Stay strong.
Well done on your week seven runs! I've just finished week 6 - yesterday and I'm on lockdown - I live in Italy - maybe we can cheer each other on? Very strange times indeed, I'm actually finding running a help with anxiety. Your job is super important so take care of yourself!
