Over excited at Sweaty Betty ...

Darn it, C25K! That’s my birthday taken care of. Got over excited on the sweaty Betty website with leggings and hole-y top envy. Sigh. No doubt there is cheaper, and no doubt more technical stuff out there. But really ... who doesn’t want a treat for their birthday? Also ... does new kit boost your running enthusiasm, folks?

A little treat now and then, and if it is your birthday...? But there are some super bargains out there.. :)

I love SB too. The only problem is they look good and last forever! I have just bought my second pair after years of gym/yoga/ general fitness use from the original pair which is still fine 😊

M&m direct is online shopping sight and it’s good quality and so much cheaper than the shops. Go treat yourself and happy birthday 🥳

Pulling on a new bit of kit for the first time really does give me a boost... I’d shop daily if I could afford it 🤣

As for brands... go for what you like and have the budget for... they’re pretty much all made of the same stuff. Sometimes someone comes up with something really groundbreaking (Under Armour have a shirt that dries in 6 minutes coming) but pretty soon the other brands also have it.

I have a song called Sweaty Betty (not recommended) and it’s also about over excitement towards the woman in question... I saw your title there and burst out laughing!

Just getting similarly excited on the SB website. Checking out the Power Workout leggings, both normal and with mesh (better for warmer days???). How did you find the sizing?

I have a couple of pairs of medium sized power leggings - I’m about a size 12 normally. At 5ft 4 ins the full length ones work fine for me. I’d be tempted by shorter ones for the current weather too! Love the iPhone leg pocket and the waistband pocket in the back -can get my tissue, keys and asthma inhaler in there.
