Phew that was a tough run. I'm used to running in the cold, not this heat. Really had to get in the zone mentally as I felt like I may melt into a Mandy shaped puddle!

I bought a running belt last weekend, just in time. It really came into it's own today as normally I have a jacket because I need the pocket it has for my phone.

Nice, wk 9, go you! What running belt did you get? I was thinking of getting one for the exact same reason!

Still cant believe It! I got a Flipbelt as I didn't want anything too bulky. Plus they had it in purple. I've done a fair bit of walking today too, ditched my handbag in favour of the belt.

I can’t imagine getting to wk 9! Great! Nice to get a colourful belt! And was it comfortable to run in?

It's odd, you'll wonder how it's happened when you get there. I forgot I had it on to be honest It didn't move about at all during the run.

It's so bizarre. A few weeks ago it was zero degrees or less and now 24 degrees! Just not used to it at all!

I know; it was a struggle but we did it.

Well done you! I'm not looking forward to running in the heat - hope it has cooled off a tad by Saturday!

Thanks. You're in luck, it's supposed to be cooling down starting tomorrow!

Well done Mandy! Running in the heat is not pleasant, sweat stinging your eyes! Don’t wear too much clothing and go earlier if possible. 😊🏃‍♀️

I know this should be about your run, well done. So about the belt....!!!!

I was looking at these and wondering about the sizing. I had bought a phizik one from Amazon, which should have fit, and would have been ok if I was a Barbie doll!!!!

Would you say the flipbelt sizing is accurate?

Sorry, only just seen this. If you can try one on somewhere I'd recommend that. The sizing depends on where you'd wear the belt (on hips, on waist etc). There is a sizing guide on Flipbelts UK site. Looking at the guide I'd have gone for either a small or medium as I'm a size 8 -10 however the assistant in the running shop looked at me and said to try the XS. It fits lovely, not too tight, but nice and secure and comfortable enough to wear out walking all day 😊

Thanks for the info.

I will keep looking, I have only ever seen them online.

Soon I'm going to have to bite the bullet, as I can't wear a running jacket forever 😨😓
