West Highland Way
Looks a lovely spot AM!
The whole way is 95 miles, in June around Midsummer's Day there is a Ultra Marathon, they start the run at 1am
We look forward to seeing the pictures of that AM!
I am glad that you like that photograph, the name of the lake on the right of the photo is called Craigallion Loch
About a 100 metres from where I took that picture, on the left side of the path there is what they call the "Craigallion Fire" it is now a stone in memorium of the Great Depression of the 1930's, the fire was a meeting place for the unemployed during that era and they kept the fire burning during that time.
What an amazing photo...really beautiful. Sounds like a fabulous route.👍
It is Nilsam, one thing I have not done is walk the whole 95 miles, let alone run it.
There are many YouTube Videos taken by people who have walked the whole way, just go to YouTube and type in West Highland Way.
Look a great run/ walk route AlMorr 😊🏃♂️
What a beautiful place.
Must be good for body and soul to be out in such a lovely spot.
Beautiful part of the world 🏴 🏔 , especially now before the mean midgies come out!!
It's glorious Al, and so good you managed to add some run miles to your hu total too!
Every year when I head north to visit my folks I make a point of walking the entire width of the west highland way when I pit stop at Tyndrum. 😝
Lol, the LENGTH of the WHW is 96 miles but the WIDTH in some parts is only 3 😂feet🙄
What a great photo Alan and a what a gorgeous place to run and walk, just stunning.
We do, but not as close to home for me unfortunately. 🙁
