That's me done the second run of week 6 and in some ways I feel like I've taken a backwards step after the exhilaration of the 20 minute run last week. Gremlins to the fore at the thought of that 25 minute run coming up on Friday.
Mind you - i thought the same thing about that week 5 run - what a jump, can't possibly etc etc. So I'm hanging on to that. I'm aiming to have my graduation run on my birthday so I'm hoping I can just keep on ticking them off. I have a bit of wiggle room but not a lot.... Anyway - another one in the tank and another one closer to the shiny badge. π€£π€£π€£

You will smash it...remember it's just another 5 mins...keep your pace slow the first time. Also try a distraction podcast or ebook so you are not thinking of the time too much. πββοΈππ»
I did w6r2 today as well and I know what you mean I found today hard even though (and I never thought I would say this!) I was looking forward to it the sun is out nice day. Still the other week I thought I wouldn't make 20 minutes but I did. We can do it Fionamags πββοΈπββοΈ
The 25 minutes is a belter. You are ready for it and it marks the next stage in your journey. Expect to reach it and you will. Nice and steady and full of confidence. You WILL do it.
You're doing fabulous and you can do it. You smashed those 20 minutes when you thought you couldn't. Just take it steady and think of how big your grin will be when you've smashed this one too!
You do have a habit of referring to parts of the plan as scary, which is possibly counterproductive and self sabotaging.........far better to adopt a positive attitude.
Thanks for that - you are so right - its definitely a positive mental attitude that gets us through possibly even more than the legs! I promise not to use the S word again!! π€£π€£π€£π€£
You'll be fine - you really will! Some runs are just tough. It's a fact, but you will be tough and strong when you finish the programme! Think what you've done already - it's amazing!
