Just completed week 5 run 3 and WOW I did it! I ran for a solid 20 mins no stopping not bad for a 20 stone man who 5 weeks ago couldn’t run 2 mins

Congratulations on completing run 3 of week 5, that is a milestone run with C25K, onwards and upwards to week 6 run 1 but be careful about that run as it catches out some people with the interval walks and runs after the non stop 20 minutes of W5R3 which you have just ran, indeed, from not being able to run for two minutes, now you can run for 20 minutes, excellent 😊 🏃🏾 👍

You can be rightly proud of yourself. Well done! Watch out for week 6 run 1. It comes up to bite some people. Take it easy on that one and you will be fine.

Is it more difficult to do week 6 run 1 because of the stop starting?

I think it's more in the head. Having run 20 minutes non stop 5 minute and 8 minute runs seem to be easy on paper sometimes. The programme is designed to gradually increase your ability to run at all times so W6R1 is overall a step up. Don't go off too quickly, take it slowly and if you have gas left in the tank save it for the last couple of minutes. You've achieved a lot already and this is a gentle step up that deserves respect.
