Finished W9 and going to do my first Parkrun on Saturday. I've only run just over 3k in the 30mins. Feeling a bit of pressure as my hubby and 3 grown up kids are doing it with me. Should I try and do 5k tonight then a shorter one later in the week? Thanks.😫

Congratulations on your graduation, fellow runner.

If you are only managing 3k in thirty minutes at present then 5k is going to be a big step up...........far more than is recommended by the 10% rule explained in the above guide.
Firstly relax. Don't ever let others pressure you in your running.
Go and enjoy parkrun, but just run what you can comfortably manage and walk the remainder..........you won't be judged, you won't be alone and you will still set a 5k parkrun time to chip away at in future.
There is an FAQ post about parkrun here healthunlocked.com/couchto5....
Keep running, keep smiling.
