Just done W8R1. I found that so hard. Why does an extra 3 minutes make such a difference? Mentally I don’t think I talked positively to myself beforehand. Anyway it’s another one in the bag. 🥵

Congratulations on running run 1 of week 8, I also remember that extra 3 minutes do seem quite hard after the previous 4/25 minute runs of week 6 and 7, I think you should find runs 2 and 3 of week 8, not so hard, you could also run them a little slower than you did today.

Thanks. I hope so although I’m not sure I could go much slower! 😂

Well done. I'm about to start w7. Was it harder at the start (mentally) or end (physically) do you think?

#askingforafriend lol

I normally find the start ok but today maybe I wasn’t in the right frame of mind. My toughest bit mentally and physically is always the middle !

Well done for nearly completing the programme.

It may not have been the extra 3 minutes as much as it just wasn't a great run. We all have tough sessions! It doe vary, so perhaps slow down a bit. I find doing warm up exercises really helps.

Great job. The run was tough and you were tougher. Sometimes it’s just not as easy as other days. You may have an identifiable reason for it... maybe you didn’t sleep as well, maybe hydration was out, maybe you ran a tad faster than normal, etc, etc... but sometimes it’s just not easy. You got the job done, and running through the tiredness at the end of a run is a good skill to build too. Take the positives from this one, you got the job done and crossed that finish line. Next one will be smoother... enjoy.

Well done for battling through. I think this programme is 90% gremlin bashing and 10% legs. Hope the next one is a good one.
