Just finished Wk1 R3 and I’m not sure whether I should repeat week 1 until I find it easy?

If you managed the runs, move on. No need to repeat. The programme is carefully calibrated to take you one step at a time from zero to hero. The weeks are challenging but doable. Some people repeat to feel comfortable with the runs, but it isn't strictly necessary if you are progressing ok.

Thanks for the advice, I will move on 😊

If you did the runs as described, you're good to go onto the following week. Otherwise you don't progress... Each week stretches you just that little bit more - if you cant do a run, then just repeat that one until you can, is the general advice.

Good luck on W2!

As the others have said, move on if you completed. If you don't complete a run then you can repeat that, because that is the challenge that you are facing up to, not something that you have already done, albeit with difficulty. You only fail this plan if you abandon it.

There is nothing wrong with repeating weeks if you really want to.....you are in control.....but keeping up the impetus and seeing progress is good for the spirit.

Have you read the guide to the plan healthunlocked.com/couchto5... it may be useful.

I’ve just done w1r3 as well. Did that one on a treadmill whereas the first two were outside. It really felt like hard work but sounds like I should move on to w2, as I did it without stopping even though it wasn’t particularly comfortable towards the end. Thanks for asking the question! The answers helped me too 👍
