Beautiful morning if a little cold, forest was lovely. Legs were stiff when I set off as I did a lower body strength class yesterday so took it gently at first and they did ease off. Before joining this community I would have given up at the first twinge reinforcing my belief that “I can’t run”. Tia seems to have got over her nervousness and trotted along beside me for the whole run. Couldn’t resist topping when my 25 mins were up to take some pictures but then walked for about 15 minutes. Just before I finished two ladies passed me and I thought I wish I looked that good at the end of my run! As I was leaving the forest path they were standing at the entrance chatting, I had a chat with them and they were so nice and encouraging. One had just run a half marathon. She said a couple of years ago she had been just where I am now! The running community is great x

Well done on finishing week 7, you are so close to graduating now, amazing
Our bodies really can handle a lot, most of the time it is quietening the doubts in our minds that is the real challenge so huge well done for carrying on and ignoring them.
I quite often find spots on my runs that make me want to stop and take some pictures but I've not done it yet, I will have to make sure I do once I've finished the programme and have a bit more running 'freedom'!
Onward to week 8, well done again and happy running
