W7 R2 Complete!

Was supposed to do this yesterday but any motivation left me! The thought of the long runs I find quite daunting but today is another day. Slower than R1 but I didn’t stop, found some bits harder than others but also had rushes of energy at times. I’m not ready to quit just yet but I’m in serious need of a kick up the backside! 🙄🐌🤔

Well done 💪🏻🏃🏽‍♀️💪🏻🏃🏽‍♀️💪🏻

I had the same feelings during run1 of wk7 felt like I could push myself at some parts and then others really had to slow right down.

You have come so far why would you give up with 7 runs left. No way keep going you got this 💪🏻

I've just done this run too and found it was my slowest 25 mins of the 3 so far which made me feel a bit deflated. I did note my heart rate was slightly less high though which i guess shows improved stamina? im really struggling with my socks bunching up under my toes though which gave me pins and needles today. Will try and find some running socks on prime ready for thursday

Do you know what, that’s my biggest bug bear, I can’t wear socks with running shoes and everyone mocks me for it! I like to feel the bottom of the shoe rather than socks and anything called a trainer sock just bunches up! I don’t know anyone else that runs without socks so I guess I’m just weird! 😂

Did my w7r2 yesterday, was crap. Did manage it but was slow, tired and didnt enjoy any of it so I totally sympathise. Think we just have to tell ourselves we've come so far and occasionally we are just gonna have a crappy run 😊

Well done you 😀

I wonder if you’re subconsciously readying yourself for the longer runs as you know you’re coming to the end of the program. Yep I just said it., THE END OF THE PROGRAM! 🤩

You also know that after week 5 you hit a high and now you’re being challenged a little yet again but you know what? You’ll be finishing on a high in week 9!

Come on, you so can do this! 💪🏻

I know, just hit a bit of a low I think! Lockdown has been hard enough so this really has been great to be honest. Lots of positivity and support, which is what we all need! Thank you x

I agree with Dolphin Girl - i think you get more tired when you keep doing longer runs so an extra rest day might work wonders. 🦵🦶 and a boot up the backside from me too.

You did it though! 👍Got to pat yourself on the back for that! 👏🏻 I had a rubbish run on that run too and have also been taking extra rest days on the longer runs. Your body appreciates it! 🤸‍♂️Just think you’ve got the rubbish one out the way and now run 3 will be brilliant! 😄🏃‍♀️🐢
