My "inner Enid" chose the wet weather running gear for this afternoon. It was the only way she was going outside.
The umbrella rather got in the way! But she stayed dry. I got soggy.

Hi Nilsam and Enid, I shall remember this when we next have to go out in the rain, lovely colours to cheer a grey day π
Lovely picture. So glad you braved it. My caring fairy decided not to put her high-waisted waders on. Going to give it a go tomorrow π€πΌπ.
At least she got out π
Go you.. and Enid...Soggy is absolutely super!!
Really need to get a decent rain jacket though...read a few posts on the same theme so will have to have a look. I suspect I am going to need one this Spring...Summer...Autumn and probably Winter. π
What is this Inner Enid of which you speak??? lol
Well it's that little voice inside our head that nags or winges...the one that wants a biscuit and tells you to take a break. (I read a post by someone who had named it.) I decided that this character just needed educating. Surely if she knew about a healthy life running would give me / us, she would not be so lazy. However, Enid has just ended up as a bit of fun where most of the time I end up drawing what I would do if I could. π©βπ¨ π
Hmmm. Turns out I have an inner Enid too!!!
At least the thought of being cosy in the wellies under that colourful umbrella helped you push through! Brilliant! Is it ever going to stop raining! I just missed the downpours as I went out just after 6am, but it was pretty soggy out there. It's interesting soaking your trainers and socks through!
How weird that we're prepared to face anything to run!
Yes, when I read your inspiring post this morning I thought I was being clever by waiting for a break in the rain but it didn't happen. π§π«ππ
Go you. π
'Weather' doesn't usually bother me, but even I'm getting fed up with this! Your posts give me something to smile about. βΊοΈ
Ah that is kind, thank you. (I probably should have been doing some house work or just working rather than painting but just messing about made me smile too. )π©βπ¨
Oooh, Enid woyldcd3finitely say, paint, every time! π€£π€π
Enidβs umbrella βοΈ is beautiful but rather cumbersome for running.
Glad you didnβt have to use one π
Iβm impressed Enid got out there and didn't sit on the couch drinking tea and munching biscuits, whilst waiting for you to get back. Maybe youβre education of her is starting to pay off! Well done on the run even if it was a bit soggy ππ
π€£ Made me giggle...you know her so well. Thank you. How are you feeling? Are you out and about?
Donβt ask, It didnβt happen! Got there yesterday to be told that the dizzy receptionist had booked me into the wrong clinic. I was raging as similar happened two years ago. Husband, who works away from home during the week had taken a day off, so he had a wasted 165 mile round trip. Rescheduled for Wednesday next week π€¬
