Educating Enid - Ironing in running gear

It does not count as a run day just because you're dressed in running gear to do the ironing. I know its raining but you have to actually go out and run!

Enid was not happy but week 8 run 1 was done, in the soggy cold weather, and I was rather pleased with myself!

Thank you...I did feel a fraud standing there, ironing...looking out at that grim weather. But I think being dressed for it forced me to do it. 🏃‍♀️

Seriously though- well done for tackling week 8 run 1. I'm doing that run on Friday. I am having a 3 day break - last run of week 7 was on Monday but I felt I needed a little tiny break as my knees were a bit niggly so I am exercising them before attempting the next run. Lots of brisk walking though!

Sounds like a good plan. 👍No point in damaging yourself and walking is excellent excersise.

Thank you. It is amazing how the programme works. Step by step, building you up. I had a break (major Enid time) and then went back to it. So I am determined to graduate this time. This forum really helps.

Getting Enid into her gear first thing is an excellent idea. Makes it seem so wasteful not to actually go out the door. Even Enid must yield to that!

Indeed, when you answer the door and people enquire whether you are excersising or off somewhere, it is difficult to say "No, just ironing".
