Amazing! What a great goal! Really signifies you’re achievement I’ve been thinking about it, I’m in week 9 now too but I’m super scared of it! (Parkruns in general)
I think with all things, take your time do it at your own pace, if you need to walk then walk. I’m reading a book called fat girls guide to running a marathon. It’s brilliant, the lady who wrote it is a sizeable lady who ran 3 marathons. She says if you need to walk walk but only for 60 seconds and count the 60 in your head. It’s well worth a read she gives you good advice on what rubs lol!! But I think no pressure, Rome wasn’t built in a day. X
Hi Sazzles, How lovely, you’re all ready to get out there. Like you I’m back after over 20 years of life getting in the way. I’m aiming for a park run at the end of Week 9 too and have registered this week ....first 20 min run coming up tomorrow, no doubt storm Jorge will be coming along 🤣

Have fun at your first PR. I’ve done 54 now and my Saturdays have changed forever! I also volunteer once a month, which is also tons of fun. 😀
