I did it!! Albeit very slowly, I still did it - 25 minutes of non-stop plodding! I battled through my mind telling me I wasnt going to make it, my calves and then my thighs getting so heavy I thought I was wearing concrete shoes, various swarms of midgeys, a couple of angry Cananda Geese and a startled swan!!
I was really worried about this week after reading some posts on here but, for me, it wasnt that bad - I still think the first 2/3 weeks are the worst (at the monent!!). I found R3 slightly easier going than W5R3 so, there's the proof the system works!!
I messed myself up a bit because I changed the time of my R2 from after work to 5am (because it was my son's birthday and I wanted to go out with him ☺️). I didnt enjoy that one and it felt like ages to my next run! I wont be doing that again in a hurry!!
I didnt get quite the same buzz from completing R3 as I have in previous weeks...hoping it comes back because I like it!! Still, onwards to see what W7 brings me, the weather's looking good so that's a plus already 😃 Oh! I almost forgot! I signed myself up to a 5K in May to keep me motivated - the Godalming Run....quite a bit of it is uphill though....a steep uphill too....😳
