Plodded through W6!!

I did it!! Albeit very slowly, I still did it - 25 minutes of non-stop plodding! I battled through my mind telling me I wasnt going to make it, my calves and then my thighs getting so heavy I thought I was wearing concrete shoes, various swarms of midgeys, a couple of angry Cananda Geese and a startled swan!!

I was really worried about this week after reading some posts on here but, for me, it wasnt that bad - I still think the first 2/3 weeks are the worst (at the monent!!). I found R3 slightly easier going than W5R3 so, there's the proof the system works!!

I messed myself up a bit because I changed the time of my R2 from after work to 5am (because it was my son's birthday and I wanted to go out with him ☺️). I didnt enjoy that one and it felt like ages to my next run! I wont be doing that again in a hurry!!

I didnt get quite the same buzz from completing R3 as I have in previous weeks...hoping it comes back because I like it!! Still, onwards to see what W7 brings me, the weather's looking good so that's a plus already 😃 Oh! I almost forgot! I signed myself up to a 5K in May to keep me motivated - the Godalming Run....quite a bit of it is uphill though....a steep uphill too....😳

Well done Annie. You've done the hardest part of the programme IMO. Twenty five minutes running! Whoop whoop!

Good for you for signing up to a 5K too, plenty of time. I hope there's bling 😏

Thank you! 😃 It seems like such a long time to continuously run (plod) and Im feeling pretty pleased with myself, which is an unusual emotion for me!!

Oh there's bling alright! Not big bling but bling nonetheless! 😉

Excellent. I've found bling to be a great motivator! Make sure you post a picture of it 🙂

You're doing everything right! Only 3 weeks to graduation and you're already planning ahead to keep yourself motivated. Well done! Not every run can give you that high, some seem just horrible, but they all contribute to our health and happiness.
