I meant to post this last night but I completely forgot! Was clearly too tired.
I did it! It was a hard one I must admit, but I just kept going and got through it. The biggest and best thing I did for myself was to just keep saying a mantra to myself ‘I am not the sort of person who gives up’. I grimmised and gritted my teeth through a good portion of the first 5 minute run and that’s a fine, because I still freaking did it!
I’m just a little proud.

I found Week 4 Run 1 was about settling into a sustainable jogging pace. It was tough but fine if the pace is steady. Pleased also to have dropped below am 11m/km pace (10'54' km average) - yes I know speed isn't the thing, but it's just an indication that we are running more than walking in Week 4.
