W7R2 Be encouraged!

Just completed W7R2. I did every other run by the book but tonight I broke the rules. I tried a new route but at the end of 25 mins I was still agood way from home...so I just kept on running and running. I finally stopped at my usual place....39m 45sec and 4 km!

So I ran for nearly 15mins than required and am now only 1k away from the target.

So if anyone is struggling or thinking they will never make ..be encouraged and keep going. If I can do it so can you..I am 75 and overweight!!!!!

Tday I broke the route down into sectors and visualised doing it. Then when it came to the run it was that much easier.

You can do it..dream on!

Go for it!

Try breaking your routes into sectors and then visualise doing it. When you come to the actual run it then becomes that little easier.

Hope you did some stretching, I’ll bet you’ll be feeling it tomorrow 😉

Seriously though, try to stick to the rest of the plan. It’s designed the way it is to avoid injury 💊🛏

Well done though 😉👏

I don't run again till Monday so I should be well recovered. Tonite was a one off I intend to go back to the plan for the rest of the runs

But at least I know I can do it. Psychologically thats a big plus for me.

Glad to hear you're going back to the plan...we would hate for you to get an injury when you're clearly becoming an awesome runner!

That said...you now know there is nothing from stopping you completing C25K, very well done, and at 75 too 😊👍👏
