Week 9 Run 3 - Broken!

Got home last night about 11, woke up at 5:30 but decided to doze until 7, seven came and up I got.

Headed downstairs, fished the smelly running gear out of it's bag in my case, pulled it all on and off I went,

Week 9 seems to have come around really quickly again, I'm lucky, for some reason I haven't had to repeat a run, I think there may only have been one last time around because of a stomach bug, I'm digressing again.

Decided on a slow and steady one today, no need to try and do another +0.5 or 1k on this run, I wanted to savour it again.

For the first time at home I left the timer uncovered, while I enjoyed the run immensely it seemed to be longer than 30 minutes as I could watch the clock, big mistake really.

Strange because I could look at the timer for my last 3 runs in the hotel!

Anyway, I've graduated again, I've broken my treadmill in the process, just as the warm down walk was coming to an end and Laura was given the speech on how well I'd done, etc, the belt stopped and all I could hear was a clicking noise, it's been a faithful friend for about 8 years, I'm not going to try to get it fixed, probably cost more than a new one in the long run, I'll take a look at the JTX website later.

Looks like running outside is on for Monday now, I think I'll try Week 5 run 1 or 2 or maybe week 6 run 1 or 2 just to see how it goes.

Happy running everyone.

You know what I'm going to say here don't you? IT'S ALL YOUR FAULT!!! Thank you again, you, the other members of the admin team and the member of this forum are amazing, even the ones that are on week 1. There is so much passion and compassion on this forum it's the best place on the internet for me.

I bought the Sprint 5, in 2011, I must day it was a great piece of kit, for the construction, etc, it was well under priced, I think it ended up costing me about £56.25 per year in real terms (cost/years owned). I'd gladly buy their kit again.

I will happily take the blame for something that is so amazing... Your running journey has been amazing... and yes, you are right... the gear although it is pricey...is worth it:)

You are worth it:)
