Hi more advice please. I did my 2nd run of the week on Wednesday and due my 3rd run today (I am starting week 6 today). Will I put myself back and struggle if I don’t now run until Monday? The weather is so bad I’m thinking of not going out....

Hi, I’ve left it 4 days before doing a next run (I won’t go out if it’s raining) and it doesn’t seem to have affected the next run at all

Oh that’s good to hear thank you! I think I’m getting a bit paranoid about diverting from the programme. It’s so bad out there. I’m happy to run in the rain normally but today is very wild!

Hi! I’m in week 6 also, I’ve just had a 4 day break as my ankle wasn’t feeling great. Today I ran my next scheduled run and had no issues. I guess everyone is different. What you could try is after a break, doing the last run you did, see how you get on and if it’s too difficult go back a week or two. Good luck.

That’s reassuring and a good back up plan thank you

As it states in the guide to the plan, you will lose next to no condition in the first two weeks of non running.

I didn't run for a week when I went on holiday, I had the best run of the whole programme when I got back. 😀

You'll be fine to delay until Monday - ot's pretty brutal out thete so unless you have access to a treadmill, maybe do some other exercises and enjoy your run on Monday. I took little 3/4 day breaks now and then when on the programme for various reasons and it was fine.
