W6R1 done!

Thought this run would be a piece of cake after running for 20 last week but actually found this run more difficult! Looking at map my run it’s obviously becos I couldn’t pace myself and ran faster this time, actually I covered the longest distance i ever have since starting by 0.5km so that’s something I suppose. Think that was down to the residual wind of storm Ciara spurring me on!! Looking forward to run 2 on Wednesday and pleased to be brave enough to finally post about my running (only 6 weeks later!!)

I'm a few hours ahead of you, as I did W6.1 last night

To be honest, I'm looking forward to getting the final W6.2 interval out of the way on Tuesday. I'll officially be a jogger then, (wouldn't dream of calling myself a real runner just yet), and looking forward to going out for a proper run where I can realistically check my pace over a distance and start to appreciate my progression.

I'll also look forward to thinking about how I can vary my routes once I'm out and about for a half hour or more.

Roll on the summer...

I agree with you actually! Looking forward to seeing an improvement in run times and distances as I (hopefully) improve. Also looking forward to longer distances and finding more scenic places to run, the park is getting a bit dull now!

Well all I can say is I timed the run well..it’s pouring with snow now and there’s no way I’d be brave enough to go out in this! Definitely roll on summer!! 🤣
