OMG just did my first park run... feel fantastic. A few months ago I could not have run for a bus!
Keep going everyone.... it's so worth it....AND you can do it. Last summer I was on so many pain killers for back problems I even refused to walk with my husband a d our daughter because they "walked too fast"
Now I am up to 8k and aiming for Bristol 20k in May. So you must not give up there's a runner in all of us.π§π§ππΌββοΈππΌββοΈπββοΈπββοΈπββοΈπΆββοΈπΆββοΈ

Wonderful post - well done on your progress and glad you enjoyed your first Parkrun. I can feel that 'runners high' from here! π Best of luck with your training for the 20k - not a common distance (did you mean 21k/Half marathon?)π
Wow! So pleased to hear what running has done for you, and look how far you have come! You are an inspiration. π And parkrun is a joyful way to start the weekend. It took me two years of running before I tried parkrun, and now I am hooked. π
