Go for it!

I'm 55 years old & haven't excersised for years, up until a year ago I had very active jobs, now I work night shift, where I'm sitting for 10 hours.

I decided to get fit, & do couch to 5k, My hubby & daughter said I'd never do it, I've just finished week 6 & love it, never thought I'd be able to run so far & for so long. I actually look forward to my run & haven't missed a day yet!

So if your undecided don't be, do it, you'll be amazed at how quickly you get fit. If I can do it at 55, you can. GO FOR IT

Well done to you Peekyknees, just shows what can be done if you put a bit of effort into anything. I bet your husband and daughter are very pleased with you, what you should do now is to ask them to join you on your runs, but of course, they will have to train with C25K before they can do that. No one can just go out and run for 10, 20 or 30 minutes without training, that is what C25K is all about.

Well done. I turned 50 this year but have completed C25K twice not. Going to keep it up this time. I have long days so am up early and make time to do my 30+ minutes around 4am.

In this hot weather I find it much cooler, also when I return home around 7pm I find sleep much easier.

Well done Peekyknees you are at the point of no return almost on the home straight .. no going back now. My job is similar sitting down all day and before I started this I got out of breath going up the stairs and struggled to get up and walk down stairs at the end of the day because of almost seizing up. So much better now. Keep up the good work and keep shouting it out.
