Just completed w5 r3. Never thought I would run for 20 mins non stop. Run at 5am when kids are asleep. Do struggle with breathing in through nose as I've a bent septum.. Feeling great

Congratulations! It's such a cool feeling, isn't it? I'm at the same place as you - onwards and upwards to Week 6!

Just breathe..as long as you are breathing steadily and running that is perfect!

Welcome to the forum and well done on your progress.

This guide to the plan is essential reading healthunlocked.com/couchto5...

and includes advice on breathing.

I breathe through my mouth when running.

Enjoy your journey.

Yes, well done you, you have earned the right to feel great with that achievement! (You can also feel smug, chuffed to bits and many more things too!) Extra Brownie points too for getting yourself out there and the 'job done' before daily family life takes over. I hope that next week goes well too, please do let us know.

Congratulations on completing run 3 of week 5, be careful of week 6, especially the first two runs as they have walking intervals after the non-stop 20 minute run of week 5.

Well done on completing this benchmark run. Don’t stress about the nose breathing, just breath! Take it easy on the next run as it can catch some people out 👍😁
