W5R2 completed tonight

W5R2 completed tonight and the 8 min runs were fine. Kept a decent pace and it went well. Felt like the first 4 mins drag in then when it's half way it flies in.

The podcast is extremely motivating.

Anyone who is panicking about the run length in a few weeks time. Don't. I panicked at week 1 and now I just run with it. (Excuse the pun). The programme is designed perfectly to get you building up in no time.

Once you get into a comfortable rhythm (usually takes me about 7 minutes) can just cruise on auto pilot (sort of!😆) on the longer runs. I actually now much prefer running continually for 30 minutes. Knackered by the last 5 minutes though!

I've just completed this run tonight too. Surprisingly I felt ok but I'm a bit nervous about the next one!

Me too, once again. This time I felt sluggish compared to run 2 but got there in the end.

Not looking forward to run 3 though!

Well done, I’m at the same stage, doing W5R3 tomorrow. Never thought I would get to this stage when I did W1R1, the programme really does work. Good luck with W5R3!!!

How did it go. I'm planning on doing W5R3 tomorrow. I was the same - I genuinely thought at W1R1 I'd NEVER be able to run for more than a minute. Definitely a confidence builder

It was fine, took it slow and had to shout internally to myself to keep going a couple of times, but within a minute of the cool down felt I could go again. Just remember every step up is daunting, but you’ve completed the others so you can do this🏃‍♀️🏃‍♀️🏃‍♀️

Fantastic attitude 👍👍👍

I did w5 r3 only a week ago, and it was my favourite run so far. I found it to be a real game changer and has really increased my confidence in both the programme am myself.

The only thing I’d say it take it slow and steady , as per the mantra of many others.

Enjoy 👍👍🏃‍♂️🏃‍♂️
