Have 2 favourite running routes from home. As it was 20C today chose the cooler woodland trail to shade the dog & I. Took my body a few mins to settle into the run mainly due to stop start having to clear up after the pooch. Focused on posture & fluidity. Really enjoyed the 2nd 8mins run. Felt relaxed and disappointed when Laura told me that was it. Thinking about booking my entry to a 5k event around Xmas to give me something to aim at. Meanwhile simply looking forward to my next run.

Good for you Vegout25, would that 5K around Xmas be a 5K Santa Dash? , which there are so many around Christmas time🌲
Thanks for the advice AlMorr I’ll google local Santa Dash & see if there’s something low key & local. Is google the best place to look or any there any websites you’d recommend?
Just type "parkrun.org.uk", on that site it tells you all about where park runs are held, results and advice.
I would imagine that won't be the site that tells you where Christmas Santa dash 5k runs take place, most of those 5K runs are organised by the local authority.

Christmas would be a good time for the 5k... plenty of time to consolidate this and get a few parkruns in. Sounds like you’re rocking it.
