Back after 2yrs off the forum, I've still been running but found another reason to rejoin the community. I lost my wife for 33yrs to Pancreatic Cancer recently and now need to find myself again and clear my mind with like minded people. Good to be back, lots of running love Phil xx

So sorry for the loss of your loved one at such a young age, hope that when you are running that those special memories of your wife keep you going across the finishing line each week of your achievements.
Well done to you for this and I wish you well - jogging\running does clear the mind of anything which no doubt is what you need at times as our chatterboxes in our heads can send us crazy at times! I wish you well for the future and I'm sure your wife is willing you on. Sending you support and much positivity. Jo
Welcome back Guesty26. I've found this place to be very helpful and it does encourage me to get out and run. I feel very content when I'm running and it gives me space and time to think through lots of things. I hope it brings you some way on your journey back to yourself after such a big loss in your life. Take care.
Have a big hug. This will give you a reason to get up and get out. Just take it one step at a time.
So sorry to here about your wife, and wishing you well.
It's good to have some experience along for the journey. You'll be able to keep us all on the straight and narrow.

Welcome home.
If you sometimes like some audio input on your runs, can I recommend the Griefcast podcasts? Definitely an aid to staying Yorkshire in a healthy way.
I remember you! Glad to see you back but sorry to hear of your loss.
