So good to be back outside

After an enforced absence because of flu and then a lovely holiday but with nowhere to run which resulted in 2 disastrous attempts on a treadmill (never again), I got myself back out there this morning. Went for the 5k which I managed in a much better time than I thought at 35 mins but really struggled with my knee which still isn’t right after my treadmill debacle! But it still felt so good to be back running in the fresh air. Think I’m going to have to ease myself back in. Fingers crossed I can get over this knee blip soon. 🤞🏻🤞🏻

Good for you! Its great to be out there even though the weather can be a bit off-putting at times. It's generally ok once you get warmed up though

I had a gym induction on Sunday and the guy introduced me to the treadmill. The place was full of folks on em! I viewed it with rheumy eye, almost slits, and stepped away from the monster like it was toxic. I couldn't hold my head up in here if I was to get on one. I think he just thought it was beginner's nerves. LOL

Oh me too. I honestly don’t know how people run on them. It was my worst running experience ever 😝

Great to see you back Sue! Never tried a treadmill. Don’t really have the urge to now 🙂 Hope your knee behaves. Good plan easing back in slowly.
