Hold me accountable please 🤨

How are you all? I hope you’ve all had a great week so far.

I have had a lazy week so far and haven’t pushed myself to get out there and run since Saturday. I’m planning on going tomorrow after work as tonight, just like today has proved to be to busy and full of other responsibilities that can’t be put off.

Tomorrow I will get out there. I now feel I will be far more motivated to face the cold, that I have posted on here :)

Yep. You’ve thought it, typed it, posted it. Now you feel committed. Now your VRBs who really want you to do this will be sending positive vibes to get you out there!

Don’t forget how important you are and C25k is for you 😊

Thank you Comfortnotspeed. That’s exactly it! I feel committed to going out now and not giving in to ‘reasonable excuses’ 😁

I wouldn’t mind but I enjoy it when I’m out there.

Just quickly read you story, you do not need to be held accountable, you are a fighter and have gone through enough already, think why you started take it easy we are all watching 🧐 and pick your clothes up off the floor, you should know better!

T2runner, I LOVE this reply 😂Thank you so much.

I do need to stress it wasn’t my clothes though, 2 teenage boys and a tweenage boy are to blame for that delightful mess.

Oh in that case you must be knackered, put your feet up and take it easy 🤪🍷

Bluecat9 in reply toT2runner

😂 I’m always knackered. Teens and tweens or not. It will be nice when they help a little more around the house by choice and without the strops lol

As a Mam to 4 boys, good luck with that one 🙄😆

Well done for getting out, fit runs in when/ if you can and be kind to yourself! If it doesn’t get done, so what🤷🏻‍♀️ There’s always tomorrow. And that goes for everything non essential, be it runs, housework, washing ! 🌶x

Lol thank you for the support. There should be a topic on here for parents to share the trials and tribulations as well the joys of parenting.

We’d probably take over, chattering 🙄😉🤣, it is the most wonderful, amazing thing, being a parent but ....... jeeeeeeze!...... wonder why I love those evening runs so much?😉🤫🤭😆🌶x

Hi Bluecat9 ...don’t worry about life getting in the way, that happens to the best of us!! the main thing is, you sound determined to get out there and now you have to report back to us so there’s no getting out of it now!!! Start nice and slowly so you warm up gradually and compose your post while you’re at it, that’ll keep your mind off the cold xx

Thank you Nilsam. I’m really hoping it motivates me to keep to it. Fingers crossed for a good day tomorrow and not one that needs recovering from, so I can actually get out there and run

Bluecat9 in reply toReluctantrunner40

Definitely felt better for it thank you. Not very far in, that was wk 2 run 2 although my 4th attempt. Third time I’ve managed the full amount but want to get one more in before I move on :)

Where are you at?

Reluctantrunner40 profile image
Reluctantrunner40Graduate in reply toBluecat9

You’re doing it that’s the main thing, so well done! Good luck with your next run. I’m at W4 R3 next, each week I’ve looked at the next runs and thought I’ll never manage that but do some how! ☺️

Bluecat9 profile image
Bluecat9 in reply toReluctantrunner40

Yeah I’ve had a look at wk3s runs and not sure how I’ll do it, but I’m hoping I manage it like you have. 😊
