It REALLY works !

Not sure where the urge to run came from (now retired in early sixties!) but Thanks to C25k I’m very glad it did. At the outset I doubted I’d progress on almost every run BUT Thanks also to the fab support in this forum 💕 I completed the whole 9 weeks (tho took me 11) just yesterday and am still pinching myself.Getting cocky towards the end I substituted some Parkruns in weeks 8&9 and now hope I can keep it all going. GOOD LUCK to everyone on C25k, you will soon see endless benefits. Keep it going 👌🏃🏃‍♀️

Well done. Nice to hear that being 60 isnt a hindrance- thanks

Thanks Ferrygirl. I think the plan can work for all ages. It helped me knowing it is flexible, ie you can simply repeat any run if set backs occur and inevitably they do!

Thanks Alast. I too found other folk’s comments inspired me and certainly helped along the way. Good luck.

Thanks all for the good wishes and to iannodaTruffe for the ‘what next’ advice. I’ll be following this bit “good practice to consolidate for a short period, bedding in all that effort“ for a while as I think my body is still adjusting. Parkruns will help when I can get there.

I’ll keep reading the inspirational posts here, it’s powerful stuff!
