I started today! Loved it. My age is against me achieving 5K in 30 minutes but never having run before, I started doing Parkruns in October 2018, and would love to get my time down to under 40 minutes, a more realistic time for an oldie.

40 minutes is a great time. Good luck.

It’s great to have a goal... and you’ll do it. Have lots of fun chipping away at that time.

40 mins for 5k is faster than us
You look so happy in that photo, enjoy the programme and remember slow and steady as you build your legs
I started at age 66 and really surprised myself that I managed to get to 5k in week 9. But it is not about speed, it's about getting out and getting fitter. Having said that, I do like seeing my time coming down!
Keep going and enjoy it! 😎

I started on my 60th birthday, I've got faster but 30 minutes still eludes me! 40 minutes sounds like a great target but you may surprise yourself. Happy running 😊
