Muddy First Run!

Hello, My very first post! I’ve felt so inspired by your very positive and encouraging forum and posts that I actually dragged myself and loyal dog out to the nearest off-road track/muddy field to start the first run. It was great to finish this first step and feel part of something that will hopefully make me much fitter and lighter! My dog enjoyed herself too - even if her white coat was so splashed up and completely unrecognisable by the end of it all it was definitely worth it!

Welcome... very well done, especially getting the job done in the mud! That’s the hardest one done... enjoy your journey. I’ll link the guide to the plan in case you haven’t seen it yet.

Thank you, she’ll definitely be a great running companion later on when the runs get longer as she gets quite impatient and barks non-stop if I walk too slow for her or worse still if I stop to speak to someone!!!
