Week 5 run 1.
I have never clicked on the smiley face on my app before a run. At best it has always been 😐. But I was feeling quite optimistic about this one. I felt like this one was in the bag!
First 5 mins- I felt good! On came the one hit wonder by the Veronicas ‘untouched’ brilliant!!
Did my brisk walk and even overtook a dog walker who was ahead of me. (He may have been weighed down by his poo bag or maybe I’m awesome 🤔)
Next 5 mins - uh oh....panic sets in half way, which always affects my breathing. But just in the nick of time plays Portugal. The man ‘Feel it still’ ‘oooh wooo I’m a rebel just for kicks yeah’ get in!! Followed by MJ ‘bet you didn’t think you could do this 5 weeks ago?’ Cue the BIGGEST grin ever!!! 😁😁😁 He is very right. No I really didn’t.
Last 5 minutes- THE HILL. Crap! gets me every time! But again saved by another cracking tune. Florence and Machine ‘Dog days are over’. That definitely put a rocket up me 🚀 wheeee!!
Ended my run with a 🙂
