I think it’s coming up to a year since I started C25K. It’s such an amazing programme that’s helped me join the parkrun addiction.
We’ve been away in London this week and I’ve not run since last weeks PR,so didn’t really want to get out of bed! Anyhow I went and felt so heavy and tired and actually had to walk a few paces just before the finish. Imagine my surprise when I discovered it was a PB!!!
Just goes to show, never give up. Enjoy folks xx

Congratulations on your run today and a new PB of 36.4, I also have been surprised on some of my PBs, running with others seems to make you run just a little bit faster than when you are alone, not long now until you get a sub 35 minute 5K 🏃🏾 👍.
Well done on your surprise pb! Maybe having fresh legs helped. I was planning to do my 16th Parkrun this morning but I overslept. Feeling cross with myself now!
O that must be worst sleeping in for a parkrun than for work or the school run, you must have been very annoyed with yourself, just remember next week to set your alarm ⏰ for park🏃🏾
Well done Simone - you got out of bed and along to PR and was rewarded with a surprise PB! I'm big on Parkrun and have learned that, no matter how I feel on rising, I'll ALWAYS feel better for getting round, PB or not (although a PB is always nice ).
Your particular PR course looks like you go around a lake too - lovely!
