I just ran for 25 mins (R3 W6), that's the 1st thing and the second is I ran in the centre of London! I'm away for work and didn't want to miss a run.
There are a lot of people around and I thought I'd be self concious especially because I'm not a quick jogger. However, it was ok. I soon forgot about feeling embarassed and actually ticked the very smiley face at the end of the run. I think I'm getting into this running lark π

Congratulations on completing run 3 of week 6 in the centre of London, I often see runners running along busy streets in the centre of Glasgow when I am passing through the city on my way home, 11 miles away.
By running run 3 of week 6 you are now OFFICIALLY a RUNNER, congratulations. π ππΎ
I think the further in the programme you get, the less self conscious you become - at least that's how it seems to me π
I started off in the semi dark not wanting anyone to see me, now I don't mind if I run in the daylight, as long as I fit the run in. We must be growing in confidence π πͺ
The good thing about central London running is that you can be naked and painted orange and nobody would see you. I did and do all my long runs (including half and full marathon) running there, dressed up like an NBA player. Apart from selected aficionados from the States who spot me, l am completely ghostlike to the world. I love that.
For a minute there, I thought you were going to say you do all your running naked and painted orange!! π I'm sure that's true though, you're practically invisible π
Fab - I ran round and round St James' park last year - fantastic - pelicans, the pond and every now and then Buckingham Palace too. Unbeatable. Congratulations!
Well done to you, the fact you even packed your running stuff was impressive! One of the things that had stopped me from starting running, was feeling self conscious, but itβs funny how quickly you forget all that once you get out there and do it!
