Then short of breath and getting worse, lemsip with ibuprofen in between and beginning to worry a bit on Tuesday.... lots of people have colds, Tuesday night wasn’t much fun, a few bits of arguing that doctors don’t want to see me for a cold or flu
Wednesday morning feeling pretty awful and increasingly short of breath so gave in and let Willow take me to the doctor, she called an ambulance crikey i can go in the car i said she said no, and here i am on Thursday, in a side ward and no one comes in without a mask and gloves, on oxygen i’ve had x rays and nebulisers and i v antibiotics
So all you runners out there if you start to get breathless when not running see your doctor, if i’d gone on monday i might not have had to be here and believe me i don’t want to be

Thank goodness you are safe and being taken care of. Thank you for the warning and well done.
Huge well done to Willow...for getting you to the professionals... I have the same trouble with my husband! Nearly lost him in an a similar way a few years ago!
Just relax... slow and steady and do exactly as you are told... feel better soon xx
Oh no! Horrendous. How can this be? 😨 Thank goodness for OHs who force poorly people to see their doctor. 👏🏼 Keep us posted, and all the best for a speedy recovery. And no running in the corridors!
Oh my word, what a fright for both of you! I’m sure you’re in the right place to start the healing process - best wishes to you for a very speedy recovery!
Sorry about your illness Solo, but thank Willow that she took you to the doctor by calling an ambulance, I just hope you recover soon and can get back to running as soon as you feel well again, no hurry for that, as Floss says 'the runs can wait'.
I can imagine! Just done a run for you. Was umming and aahing about going out for one and not really feeling like it but reading your post gave me the prod I needed to get out the door and into the woods. Now covered in mud! 😂
That's great news that you're off the oxygen. Fingers crossed for you being discharged asap - just don't overdo things when you get home, rest and recuperate!
Aw, sorry to read this. Hope you improve quickly but remember to be patient! Top marks to Willow, sometimes others can see how sick we are quicker! Hope you get some rest in the hospital. Best wishes.
