Mad, hmmm, anyway, congratulations on completing run 2 of week 2 in the heavy rain and wind, you can thank storm Brendan for that, onwards and upwards to run 3 of week 2 by which time Brendan will be over Norway

Well done Sammie. I’m just about to head out the door now and face into a 5K Run in a storm. I’m dreading the run but looking forward to the nice warm shower afterwards.

Good luck for your run Damien, I hope you and Brendan have a good 🏃🏾 😊time running against each other. 😂

Brendan was a bit quieter by the time I went out. 40 mph winds. It was 70 mph at lunch time. I did some interval training, it was tough going and very cold, but as always I’m glad I went running. You never regret it, but it’s oh so hard to drag yourself out there some times.

O I felt so guilty this evening, I was sort of thinking of you running in the gale when I was all wrapped up on a very short walk to my local takeaway, that 4-minute walk in the wind and light rain was enough for me this evening, I hope you enjoyed your warm shower after you returned from your run.

Nothing like some foul weather to inspire you to try harder. I ran a PB last year after being caught out in a thunderstorm. I've improved on it since, but it said for a while as I was driven to get home and out of the rain as quickly as I could.
