I must be mad!

So I went out at 6am and finished week 7. It was hard with all the puddle dodging and squelchy mud! It kind of put me off my stride but I did it. I literally don't know who this woman is - going out early in the morning in the rain to run - who is this?!?!? Even my husband was shocked that I'd been out in this weather! I'm feeling a great sense of achievement. Now to clean my trainers...

Snap for 6am run in the rain. Was not bad at all apart from puddles I thought. Just 1 week behind you. How did you find it?

Same as you - fine apart from the puddles. To be fair I think mini lakes would be a better description! 😂

Well done on completing week 7 at 6 o'clock in the morning when it was raining, yes, dodging all those puddles is a pain in the 'legs', once your graduate your husband, as well as yourself, will be very proud of you.

Wow! You're nearly there! I'm a bit worried about what happens when I finish. Am I going to be able to maintain this in my own? I dont want to do park run for many reasons but what happens next, do I just go back to blob?!?!?!

I know. I'm a bit worried about myself. I think as i am nowhere near achieving 5k yet to I think i will continue to increase the run time every week until i eventually get to that magic distance.

Aah that's so lovely to hear you're excited. Not sure I've ever felt that - terrified, scared, apprehensive. ...But I'm at week 8 and I actually am enjoying it - what's that all about? Agree with the getting up early vibe - sets me up for the day! X

I had the same kind of splishy splashy run this morning! It's actually very freeing to go splashing through puddles like you did when you were a kid and getting home with mud all up the back of your legs. 😁
