After graduating in August i did maybe 5 consolidation runs and then i kinda lost interest (i think i missed the structure of working my way through a course) ☹. So New Years resolution time has come and i'm back im the saddle again. Wk1R1 done this morning and was fine. I know i can get through the 9 weeks again (after all i've done it before) but hopefully i can carry on after graduation #2 this time. Good luck to all wherever you are in your running journey 👍

Thanks.. hope you have better luck than me 👍

I'm rerunning too - I got to w9r1 before hitting the injury couch last summer. That hurt a bit - the two runs from graduation hurt almost as much as the injury. Good luck on your round 2. I finished w2r1 this morning.

I'm in the same boat. Graduated 15 months ago. Started consolidation and on to the couch with a ligament problem. One year out. Desperate to get back. Next run W9R2. I kind of lost my way too. Really liked being told what to do and kind of wondered what to do and how much but my plan now is to do some park runs when I've consolidated the 5k. It's good to have a plan me thinks! Start thinking about your plan now so you know where you're going with this running malarkey. I'll watch this space 😊

Well done this time around... nearly there 👍 Yep.. that's my issue really.... once i'd got to the end, i didn't really want to go to Bridge to 10k as 30 minutes fits in with my spare time. Park Runs are no doubt great fun for most and make a change from running on your own... but i dunno why but they don't really appeal to me. Maybe i just need to try it, but you're right i've got to come up with a plan of some sort to stick to.

Let us all know how you get on after graduation #2.

That’s great to give it another go. I just graduated last week, have done one consolidation run. I’m wanting this to be a long-term change for me so I’m hoping I stick with it. Keep posting on your progress, the thing is, and you’ll know this, you feel better within yourself knowing you’re doing something that’s good for you!!

Congrats on your graduation! I'm sure you'll make it a long term change, which is my aim too. You're spot on about feeling better for running, and i do enjoy it.. just need to kick myself up the backside to get out there. Good luck!
