Straight Home, Straight back out again.

Today i got home from work (weekend, yay!) changed into my kit and went straight back out again for my run. Firing up zombies, run as is now my habit - bit of illusion breaking with the voice-actor who plays 'sam yeo' using the start of the episode to tell me why I should sign up for premium (seriously considering it right now) but that aside, I was off, saving a community from zombies again, had an excellent and uninterrupted run around the estate (even though Runner 5 picked up two mobile phone and a radio, in addition to the other things we pick up in-game)

Goblin Cecelia did try to hold me back by pointing out it's been a bloody long slog of a week and did I really, really, really want to leave the warmth of the house to go out into the freezing cold air? she also tried pointing out how comfortable my sofa is and revealing where she'd put my fluffy slippers, but this all fell on death ears because I'd been promising myself this run all day - i mean, running from zombies hands-down beats doing the washing up and taking down the christmas decorations.

Run completed I headed home, did the dishes, decided that taking down the christmas decorations is a far more energetic passtime than I feel up to right now and instead took myself off for a well-earned bath.

Now to think up something for supper. Happy running all

Cecelia is a great name for a goblin - just makes me think of the Simon and Garfunkel song which really brings that goblin down to size :) Nice work on the zombie straight-from-work running!

the run was good, the episode was a bit boring though (even though I found out Sam's got marmite spread around under his console. because the jar broke. because he used it to demonstrate how it could be used to crush a zombie skull) but the next few promise to be good!

I can relate to this, the Friday-after-work feeling, but like you I went out and ran with my daughter and it felt GOOD. Came home to couch potato husband, feeling VERY smug.

Mr Psycho was working the late shift, so I just felt smug over everyone on the estate who didn't go out running ;)

Well done smiting Cecelia!😀

I am not sure that I will ever be able to run again without comparing it with taking Christmas decorations down though! 😂
