I got to W9R1 on my first attempt in June 2019 before landing on the injury couch.
A frustrating false restart in September with more foot niggles and a chest infection put paid to attempt number 2.
Today I seized the day and ran W1R1. It felt great to begin working on what I hope will be my 'third time lucky' attempt! ๐ ๐ ๐
It's great to see some familiar names still on the forum from back when I first started, and lots of newbies too! Good luck to you all and enjoy yoour running. ๐
Hello! Good to hear from you and thank you for the good luck wishes ๐.
At least I know what lies ahead this time..... and hopefully I will recognise when I need to slow things down a bit. I'm determined to get that shiny graduate badge next to my name!!
Hi Delly-Dot. We have followed a similar path, I got to week 8 last summer before I sustained a stress fracture. Went back to Wk 3 a month before Christmas, but the holidays got in the way! New year and pressing forward, we can do this together!

Hi - yes we can! Itโs so frustrating when you canโt complete it and itโs not through the want of trying. Good luck to you! ๐
Great to see you back. Its going really well thanks, not managed more than 5k yet but very happy doing 2/3 runs a week still. Keep in touch, would love to see your progress xx
